Love vs. A Flower
Love is like a flower. It starts as a simple seed and depending what you do with that seed determines the life of that flower. If you just hold on to that seed then a seed it will forever be, But if you plant the seed in soil, water it daily, and give it the sun light it needs and dont forget about it..it will blossom into a beautiful flower. Given this, if you plant the seed in the best soil, water it, and even give it the sun light it needs..if you forget to water it one day, or maybe leave it out in the sun light for just to long..your flower will die.
If you want nothing more from a person then a friendship, keep that seed locked away in your favorite hiding space so nobody can find it, but…if you expect love from that one simple seed, you must tend to it and take care of it daily. Love takes time, patience, tender love, care, and attention. Leave your flower without water and sun light for to long and it will die. Dont give yourself in some way in your relationship, then your love will die. Dont change the soil and pot after your flower has sprouted and it will never fully develop into the flower it was meant to be, it will eventually die out.
I dont know for myself but it seems like it only makes sense. In order for love to grow into a beautiful flower we have to nurture and pay attention to it. No love grows without effort. To love is to have responsibility. When you fallin love you are now responsible for that other person’s feeling, emotions, and well being. Now I’ve never seen this “love” thing, but from what i have seen…real love..and im not talking about “I love him because he knows exactly how to make me smile” type of love, im talking about love that does not judge or expect to much from a person. Love that makes you want to be a better person. Love that makes you love being in love, A love that doesnt want more than you are able to give. You know real love…our grandparents love… a love so strong it makes you smile just thinking about it..is an amazing thing.
Love- An intense feeling of deep affection
….and nothing else
